January 8-9 – Indoor Tournament Sedalia

    December 31st, 2010

It looks like there will be an indoor tournament in Sedalia on January 8-9 at the Exhibition Center. The U11 division was the only youth division to actually get team registrations. These include Jefferson Lightning, Columbia Attack and the two Sedalia Soccer 305 Spin teams (U10 and U11). There may also be a U10 rec team entered. Schedule still to be announced.

We will practice on Tuesday, January 4th at the 305 indoor. U10 at 5:00 and U11 at 6:30.

Our Team/Parent meeting will be on January 11, at 6:00pm at 305 Spin. Registration is the usual $125.00 per player. Practices will start the following week. The Spring season starts late March.

    Happy New Year!!

Dec 18 – Boys go Shopping for Open Door

    December 19th, 2010

Sedalia Soccer 305 Spin U10 and U11 boys got together on Saturday to purchase grocery items for Open Door in Sedalia as part of the PKSA indoor food drive. We met at 305 Spin, got in some indoor soccer and then headed to Aldi’s. At Aldi’s, we divided into 4 teams of 2, each got a cart and filled it with groceries. Everyone did a great job. We then checked out with an endless stream of food, loaded up the van and headed back to 305 indoor. Lori got pizza’s and the boys ate and played some more. We then headed out to the Exhibition Center and loaded in our goodies. Everyone had fun and it was a great experience. Well done, boys!

Orange pulled and upset beating Green 7 to 5. Then yellow upset blue beating them 5 to 2. In the consolation game Green and Blue tied 3 to 3. In the Final Yellow beat orange 5 to 3.

In the second session the teams were:
Team Blue – Hunter, Lallo, Zachary
Team Yellow – Riley, Eduardo, -
Team Orange – Trenton, Alex, Matthew
Team Green – Tanner, Ian, Dylan

Team Blue won the group with Orange in second, team Yellow in third and team Green, 4th. Then team blue playe green and orange played yellow with the winners going to the final.
